I am sure there are more like yours. Labs are prone to some health problems. Since they are so popular there are many people who breed them with out knowing how health the dogs they are breeding are. Most likely the person you got yours from did not know they were passing on epilepsy. At least I hope they did not knowingly pas it on. Look at some of the yahoo groups and see if you can find one for labs I am sure there are quite a few. Join one they can be a real help to have people to discuss things with and get advice from.

My lab had skin infections due to allergies the first two years of her life. Now she is doing great on a good food and a couple routine medications.
