purina and pedigree and iams are good. dont give em generic, it contains cardboard and corn cobs. seriously

Pedigree pup is great its not to pricey and when the pup gets older you can switch it over to large breed formula.

I would recommend Eukanuba Large breed formula It has Glucossamine which will help his joints as well as lots of extra nutrients large bones need to develop quickly. I also love Nutro line of pet foods they have a new Ultra line that has Salmon, Chicken and everything you need to have a very healthy dane.

When my dog was a puppy I use to cook the beef for him, and never gave dog food in cans, that’s why my dog is so healthy, then in a matter of 10 weeks I started to buy some dog food but now he is 1 year old, just remember a puppy has to be treated like a child.

Great Danes and other GIANT breed dogs should be fed a puppy food formulated especially for large breed animals. These formulas have specific mineral balances to help a big dog’s bones grow correctly.
Remember cheap dog food is made from cheap ingredients.

Purina one for large breeds is good also royal caine specially design for great Dane breeds ( get at large pet store ) they are a little expensive but will worth it
