Anyone remember this oldddd tv show?
Posted by: | CommentsThe episode was about a man who thought he ran over his girlfriend, he denied it and told the police he had even taken photos of her; but, the photos turned out to be photos of his Afghan hound. It was in the 50s on one of the Alfred Hitchcock type shows.

question about breeding in biology?
Posted by: | CommentsAn egg cell was taken from a golden retriever. The nucleus was removed. A nucleus from the skin cell of a silver Afghan Hound was inserted into the egg of the golden retriever. The egg grew into a fetus which was transplanted into the uterus of a black newfoundland dog. A healthy cloned puppy was born. What color and breed was it?
Could it be registered as a purebred dog?

Also, I’m more interested in this one, what’s your least favorite breed and why?
I absolutely love Afghan Hounds. I love how most people don’t like them. They require extensive grooming, vigorous exercise, and are voted the least intelligent dog breed (although I do not agree with this.)
They take A LOT of work and they don’t show much love to their owner in return. A lot of people would never want one, but that adds to their charm to me.
My least favorite would have to be a border collie. I love all dogs, but Border Collies are just not what I want to in a dog at all. My next least favorite breed is a Labrador. Everyone owns a Lab and I don’t want to be everyone, they just are not at all what I want in a dog.

What’s your favorite dog(s) and why?

I love Afghans because, they’re incredibly intelligent, free willed, BEAUTIFUL, silly, too smart for their own good, mischievous, the perfect size, very independent, aloof, wary of strangers, cat-like, and just the perfect dogs.
So what’s your opinion?
I love Azawakh and Sloughi as well. But I’m getting a dog next year and it’s going to be either an Afghan or a Saluki, that’s why I put those breeds down as my favorite.
natalie… Afghan Hounds are the most intelligent breed (my educated opinion) They do what they want to do. Other breeds act like slaves, they do whatever they’re told. Afghans think for themselves and do what they want to do.
