There sooo adorable and i want one realy badly! dont worry i dont want a Akita just kuz it is adorable, i did my homework :0P any way i live in Everett, WA and am wondering where is the closest place you can buy a Akita? and if there is no place in everett wat is the closest placce to get a Akita? (i am willing to go to Cannada if i have to)
well ya of corse my dad will get the dog for me. i am not capable of chosing 1 dog to come home with me when i am surounded by tons of them. and how do u know im 13?!?! i didnt say anything about my age!

Any key advice or tips on training/bringing up an Akita puppy within a family?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m quite set on bringing an Akita puppy into my family soon at some point. I also understand they can be stubborn when it comes to training and maybe aren’t the best dogs for ‘beginners’. Having said that I’m positive about bringing the best out of the Akita with a little help and advice along the way.
Is there any good pointers or useful websites/books to buy, that will enable me to train this dog correctly to become friendly and sociable within my family and outside, while maintaining under my control as the ‘pack leader’? I’ve tried to do as much reading up as possible, but I’m sure there’s always new advice to be had and lots of lessons to be learned.
Any first hand advice and such is much appreciated. 
Also apart from the looks department is there much difference in character between the original Japanese Akita Inu’s and American Akita’s?
I heard people say, they are like their human counter parts?
LIke people say akitas are loyal, and japanese is all about loyal and honor, the japanese are also extremely violent, and akitas are also violent.
But thats just a saying, whats the real reason
