Do I Get Medicine For An Ear Infection For My Dog At The Vet, Or Can I Get At Pet Smart?
ByThe infection is in 1 ear, and it is really red, and she scratches it a lot! It is also very sensitive, like if i pet her ear she pulls away, and the skin is also really dry…I heard from a friend it was called a yeast infection….

Since you don’t know what’s wrong I would go to a vet.
Petsmart and other pet stores sell ear cleaners and ear mite medicine. If her ear was simply dirty or had mites then you could get the stuff there.
But if it is a yeast infection or a bacteria infection then only your vet can prescribe the treatment. Take her to the vet.

you take the dog to a VET and get it properly diagnosed.
it may be a yeast infection, or it could be bacterial.. it needs to be properly diagnosed and treated.. you can get it at the VET at petsmart, but not in the store itself.

It could be an infection but it could also be ear mites! they have ear mite medication @ petsmart but you might want to take her to the vet just to make sure! You wouldn’t want to waste money on something when thats not the problem! good luck
