I’m interested in making my dogs some homemade treats but I want to learn more about what is healthy for them and what benefits certain ingredients have for a dog? I am not looking for any recipes or for a list of what is good and bad just a recommendation of an informative book. I will a see our vet later this month and ask her then but I thought I would try you guys first.

There are soo many different views on dog nutrition. Seems like its almost impossible to get the right answer. You best answer is go on amazon, read book reviews and read a couple books from different schools (pray model raw feeders, barf diet, etc)
I myself have been doing a lot of research on the topic, and feel like i am still just in the begging stages of understand what dogs really require. good luck! this is not an easy topic to research
