Does Asthma Occur In Domestic Animals I.e Cats And Dogs?
ByI’ve heard that athsma in cats occurs, and can be a very serious condition requireing much the same treatment as in humans (oral prednisolone and inhalers)
What I’d like to know is- does anyone here have an athsmatic pet? What are your experiences? and does it occur in animales other than cats and humans?

At our facility we have a blue and gold macaw with asthma. He gets small dose prednizen and has a nebulizer equipt with a special mouth piece for his beak. He was diognosed last summer and is doing well now, and only gets the prednizone when it starts to flare up.
