Does White Specks In Your Poop Mean Worms?
ByI am a little paranoid right now because my dog and cat both have worms, and now my mom thinks she has it as well. For her it seems pretty obvious because she has been feeling flu-like, and in bed the past couple days and has white specks in her poop that look like rice. I, however, got a bad case of diarrhea a few days ago and am now thinking it might be linked to the worms that my animals have. I don’t share cups with anyone in the house, so I don’t know if its possible for me to get it. I do notice white stuff in my poop sometimes, but I always just thought that was undigested food like onions or bread or something.
I feel perfectly fine now but I am psyching myself out but do not want to go to the doctors if I dont have to. What do you guys think?

It could be from your pets and it might be from you eating contaminated food that wasn’t handled properly. It’s best to go to the doctors and ease your troubled mind. Most humans will have or have had some sort of intestinal parasite at some point and time in their lives. You’ll feel better knowing, and getting treatment.Make sure you keep your hands away from your mouth and wash them frequently. Your pets need to be treated as well.

For you to get worms from a pet, you would have to eat the pet’s poop and I am sure yu did not do that. The pets probably do have worms, so they have to go to a vet for worming(not store stuff). First, you take a sample of the poop to the vet. As for you and your Mom, call a doctor’s office and ask if you can take a sample of yours to the labratory. Do you eat pork that is not well cooked? That could cause worms in a human.
