Dog Foodrecipes?
ByI posted a little while ago asking about my dogs nutrition, she is eating cruddy Hills p/d right now and I can’t wait to get her off it.
I watched a few videos and read some websites (including BARF..which isn’t available in Canada it seems) and I finally found this recipe I saw on television a few days ago. It looks good to me but I want to know what experienced dog owners who make their own dog food think about it,

If you have the time to make homemade food for your pets, that is great!
But there are also all natural website you can go to and order dog food.
Search the web to find them.

That looks about like what my mother feeds her dogs. And they’ve never been so healthy in their little lives!
She doesn’t have kelp or wheat germ, or dried milk though.

We cook for our dogs. Looks almost like our recipe. We use chicken or beef for the protein along with an egg for their coats, rice and oatmeal for the carbs and various mixed veggies. (no onions, garlic, little cabbage or other gassy veggies). We also give them human grade vitamins, fish and flax seed oil, a little yogurt for their guts.
Our dogs are healthy, good weight, with gorgeous glossy coats. Our vet is pleased with them. Our girl just had 9 beautiful pups 3 months ago, who were very healthy, and they started on the diet as soon as they found their way to mom’s bowl. (their eyes weren’t even open yet!)
