AND if you did that you would be saving a life. go through that whole sappy story about how you really want to save this one dogs life and make it have a 'happy ending' or something. if i was your mom and gave me a sappy story like that I would be..."well...welll.....okay i suppose we can get one" but that's just me. and that would work with my parents....it kinda already worked because we are moving this spring and my mom said we can adopt a dog to save its life :) hehe...good luck! (maybe if its the breed adopt a sheltie! they rock!) well, you could ADOPT one for much cheaper.
