brushing her teeth and also theres this liquid you can get from petco, petsmart that you actually put in there drinking water and its supposed to help, also i think theres bones they can chew that help. if her teeth are falling out take her to the vet a.s.a.p!!!!!

Halitosis actually just means “bad breath”, which is classified as a symptom, rather than a disease. What it sounds like is that your dog actually has a canine version of periodontal disease. I would recommend taking her to the vet for a dental and assessment.

Also, look into the type and quality of food she’s eating. As a general rule, mushier foods are worse for her teeth than dry foods, but even there the quality of nutrition is not equal in all foods. If the dog has periodontal disease, her overall health not only affects it but is affected by it.

Best of luck!

Halitosis is a big word for bad breath. It can be caused by dental decay, gum disease, digestive problems, and other things. Your dog needs to see a vet to have it taken care of. There are no home remedies that will work. Probably a cleaning, possibly some extractions and maybe a gum treatment would greatly improve your pet’s breath.

Only your vet can help your dog now. Schedule a visit ASAP.

Halitosis is bad breath. Is your dog a puppy ? Puppies loose their milk teeth and grow in their “big” teeth. You can get pet friendly toothpaste and a finger brush. Greenies bones for dental care. My dog likes to eat cat poop and stinks something terrible when she does. If your dog is an adult and loosing teeth, You should really take her to the vet. Sorry.

halitosis is the technical term for “bad breath”

The halitosis is caused by the dental issues.. dental issues are not caused by halitosis

If she is loosing teeth and in pain, then there’s nothing you can buy at petco to help.. she will need to have a dental done by the vet and have any bad teeth removed.

That’s like saying that you have a rotting tooth, and you decide to try to “cure” it with brushing and flossing. Any dental care products sold at the petshop would be for preventative maintenence.. not for solving an issue after the teeth are rotting.

Your dog needs to have a dental cleaning. It will greatly improve her breath. It is very important. Tooth decay can lead to organ damage and can shorten the life of your pet.
