I have had diarrhea for about two weeks, something I ate?
ByI made dinner on my grill for myself and three other people about two weeks ago. Since then I have had the runs and persistent nausea. I have not vomited but I dont have an appetite at all. I am drinking plenty of fluids to keep hydrated but it is making me so tired.
I made hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. I believe the hamburgers may have been a little pink in the middle, but no one else got sick from it. The weather has been hot here, I dont like to eat when it is hot out but I dont think that would cause diarrhea. And last night I was having cramps from it really bad, I was doubled over in pain. It did not feel like gas pains, I had not used the bathroom for a day or so and it felt like I was backed up, but it was still loose.
I am going to see my doc this after noon but I was just seeking some advice on here too. Thanks

Even if no one else got sick, it could still be food poisoning. Everyone’s digestive system is (specifically) unique, and handles itself differently.
If it’s been going on long this long, though, good idea to get checked.
Hope you feel better soon!

Since you’ve had “the runs” for so long, I really think you should go to a doctor and find out what’s causing this. It coudl be something minor but it may be something more serious. You don’t want to ignore it… just in case.
Good luck to you!

Why pose the question to laymen when you are going to see a professional? Bacteria only last in the body for short periods of time (you either get better or die) and I would think after two weeks the bad bacteria would have dissipated by now.
Mono, hepatitis, appendicitis, spastic colon, Irritative bowl syndrome, gallbladder problems, parasites, and otheres can cause your symptoms. If the dr is any good at what he does, he will find it.
