ok i have very mild asthma from dogs and dust…i rarely use my inhaler like maybe once every 6 monthes or so.. i never have to use it for exercise so ….can i join the air force???
Active asthma after age 13 is an automatic disqualification from service. Since you just admitted that you use an inhaler, you cannot join any branch of the military. You think there’s no dust anywhere that the military can be stationed?
I wouldn’t recommend it. There was this guy in our group who didn’t have asthma, but broke out in an asthma attack after they made him do a lot of physical exercises. He had to leave and go back home. Your best bet is to check with a doctor first.

Maybe, you might be able to get a waiver.
