Can Anyone Recommend A Good Dog Food?
Posted by: | CommentsI currently feed my 3-year-old Welsh Corgi and 1-year-old labradoodle Rachel Ray’s Nutrish food. I know it’s not the best stuff out there, however, real meat is listed in the first two ingredients, so I know it’s better than Iams or Purina or any of the big brands, yet I hear most often that it’s not too great. I have fed them more “high-end” or “all-natural” dog foods like Taste of the Wild and Wellness brand, but all have given them severe gas and diarrhea, so bad that they couldn’t control bowel movements at times (that was mostly with Taste of the Wild). I read online how much people bash the Nutrish, but it’s the only food I have tried that doesn’t give them gas at all.
So should I continue feeding them this “crappy” dog food that their stomachs seem to agree with, or go with the more organic foods that give them stomach trouble?
Can Anyone Tell My What’s Wrong With My Dog?
Posted by: | CommentsI have a 6 year old caniche who is ill and no one can figure out what seems to be the problem. we’ve already seen 3 vets until now. So he can’t jump, can’t run, can’t climb stairs, can’t walk normally because his back legs seem to be bothering him. Also when this happens he usually gets a high fever and is shivering. These episodes last for about a week, then he’s fine another week, then he’s ill again. The doctor said it could be arthritis but he doesn’t respond to the medicine. So can anyone help me please?
Can Anyone Force Me To Euthanize My Dog?
Posted by: | CommentsMy dog is about 16-years old. We had him since he was a puppy. It is so hard to see him get order and order day after day, but we try our best to take care him. He is moving slow, and lost some weight, but he still enjoy for a couple walk every day, he even chase the mailman last week. He enjoys his meal every day. He has arthritis, but he is on the medication. It is really hard to take care a old dog, I have to help him to get up, then he walks to outside by himself to do his duty, there are some accident in the house, but most of time he is going to make some noise, then we knew that he wants to go to bathroom in outside. I don’t think this is the right time to put him down yet, I feel like I am trying to kill him when I do this right now.
Yesterday night, I was walking with him down the block, one of the lady showed up, and ask me how old is him, I told him he is 16, then she said have you ever think about to put him down right now, I told her I don’t think this is the right time. Then she said I think you should do it. I told her that my dog still can eat really well, and enjoy every day and night. Then she said she doesn’t care if he could eat or not, she thinks my dog is in pain, and not fat on. I told her that I took him to see the vet, and vet said he is not in pain right now, he just get old, and has arthritis, but he is on the treatment. The lady said again that she doesn’t care about what vet says, she thinks that I should put him down, and then she said if she saw me walk down this block again, she is going to call the animal control, she said this is animal cruelty. I told her that I don’t care who she’s going to call, no one can decide whether my dog should be put down or not, the only one can do this is my dog himself. Personally, I am not against euthanizing my dog, but I just don’t think this is the time to do it. I don’t think I can decide whether he should live or not. When it is the time to do it, I think my dog is going to tell me this is enough for him.
A dog is not like a person, he can’t talk like us, but they still have a warm blood with the sensitive emotion in their heart. When they are young, they brought a lot of joy to us, but when they are getting old, I feel like I have the response to take good care of him, not just euthanize them. What is animal cruelty? I think this is animal cruelty, to euthanize them when they are still enjoying the life.
I just worry about this right now, can she call the animal control to force me to euthanize my dog?

Posted by: | CommentsFor the past days my dogs are coughing so much it sounds like they vomit but they don’t. I want to know if anyone knows what it is and how you can cure it because it sounds very bad.
