My pup was saved and has/had three different kinds of worm/parasite, his worst symptom being diarrhea. I’m now having upset stomach and diarrhea and wondering is it’s possible thats what its from… I’ve been careful to wash and sanatize everything thoroughly, and I did eat out, so maybe its just that? I’d just rather be safe then sorry.
Your profile had several paintings – a dog lying on a courch and a floral still life on an easel. Also, you had grey curly or wavy hair. I forgot to save your profile.
Have you gotten and animal from a Rescue? Tell me your story.?
Posted by: | CommentsI am doing a story on people that have gotten their cat or dog from rescue organizations (not shelters). Some people have made the claim that many of these places are too picky about whom they choose to adopt a dog or cat too. Others have said that their experience was wonderful. Tell me your story. Try to include what type of animal you tried to adopt or did adopt, what process you had to go through in adoption, if you got denied what was the reason, and overall experience.
Our Basset does great in her crate and will pee outside but still makes little messes indoors sometimes if not let out about once an hour. How can we cure this? She never poops in the house & she doesn’t have a urinary tract infection.

cat sick from my dog?
Posted by: | CommentsMy 1 year old pug mix has recently picked up a virus from the dog he plays with downstairs. The only problem he has is diarrhea. They took their dog to the vet and there was nothing they could do since it was a virus…..it was a wait it out type deal. I called my vet and they said they wouldnt need to see him, just take his food up and give him a little water and he’ll be fine. Well anyways, we recently got a new kitten. Shes about 10 weeks old and she adores my dog. She’s always sleeping on top of him and….well…in his face! Since he picked up this virus, is it possible that she can get it from him?
Do i have to worry about my pet bird (cockatiel) getting fleas from a dog or cat?
Posted by: | CommentsI would like to know if anybody has a pet bird, specifically a cockatiel, and has other pets that have fleas. We recently gave our pet cat to a relative and the cat had some fleas. We been treating our house with salt since we’ve gotten rid of the cat and only see a flea here and there. We just put a deposit down on a 8 week old cockatiel we fell in love with at an aviary. We can’t wait to bring the adorable bird home but I’m concerned about the fleas. The lady at the aviary said fleas from cats/dogs don’t bother birds that if bird gets fleas it would have to be bird specific fleas. I think I’m being over paranoid but just want to know if anyone with multiple pets has had a problem with their bird getting fleas from them. Any input would be appreciated!
