Posted by: | CommentsMy golden retriever is the most gorgeous dog but he has long, hair that gets tangled. I do brush him. My husband is away at war and I work Thurs, Fri, and Sat from 8-6 so he will have to be outside during the day. I always make sure he has plenty of water but i do worry about him getting hot. His fur would be like us wearing a big poofy jacket outside on a 85-90some degree day. I want to shave him but will his hair grow back for winter? Will his hair ever be so pretty again?

Should I do anything to him to calm him? I’ve heard an excedrin helps but I don’t want to harm him.
Do airlines have restrictions on what months he can fly? I fly to Phoenix in December and leave back to Boston in January. Is that going to be a problem?

Posted by: | CommentsOur Golden Retriever injured his right shoulder and ripped off a nice quarter sized portion of his fur and skin. We think he did it chasing something in our yard and dived off our deck. It is very raw and bleeding. What can I put on it? Thanks.
Will I ever be able to trust my Golden Retriever alone with my 10 week old Maltese?
Posted by: | CommentsWe just bought a 10 week old Maltese a few days ago. We have a one and a half year old Golden Retriever and when we introduced them our Golden snapped at her a few times. Then the Maltese got near her bone and she almost bit her! The Maltese is only 2 pounds so if our Golden gets ahold of her she’ll be gone. How can I get my Golden Retriever to accept the new puppy or will it always be like this?
They are both females.
