Mild Food Allergies-do You Absolutely Need To Stop Eating The Offending Foods?
Posted by: | CommentsIf you have mild food allergies wouldn’t cutting them out completely put you at risk for a more severe reaction from accidental contact? I’m allergic, but only mildly, to corn, wheat, peanuts, and almonds. Seriously, I had no clue I was allergic until I got allergy testing for my asthma and was given a skin prick test to determine my allergies (I’m allergic to trees, grasses, molds, dust, cats, dogs, pollen, smoke, etc…) and those foods I mentioned, but the allergist at the time (this was back in high school so like maybe 1999/2000) did actually say they were “mild” allergies. But he did say to not eat them. Well I kept eating them because in high school I was a brat and felt like there’d be nothing left but veggies, fruits, dairy, and meat to eat, so I just ignored the advice and kept on eating peanut butter and jelly on wheat sandwiches, etc… The thing is I’m wondering if I should give up any or all of those foods now. I have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks with a new doctor and I’m going to ask her but does anyone have personal experience with a mild food allergy? I don’t puff up or have my tongue swell, my blood pressure doesn’t drop. It’s just a mild reaction I’m unaware of. Just looking for input before I get to the doctor. Thanks. 
My Dog Won’t Stop Pooping In The House?
Posted by: | CommentsMy dog is about a year old and we’ve had him for a few weeks. We’re fostering him as a rescue dog. Just last week he started pooping around the house. We let him out for 15 minutes now but when we let him in again, he poops in the house! He pees then scratches at the door. We’ve learned to ignore that and just leave him out. We haven’t caught him in the act yet so it’s hard to punish him for it. We give him Timber Wolf dog food, one cup in the morning, one cup at night. How do we stop this!
His previous owners had a concrete kennel where he slept during the day and some nights. Generally they took him inside at night. I have bought a memory foam mattress, large down substitute bed, the other large beds sold at costco. He will get on the bed, stay there until I leave and then sleep on the concrete. We have a large backyard, and he will still sleep on the concrete patio. This can’t be good for him, he is an old dog with arthritis and hip problems. How do I get him to stop sleeping on the concrete?
How Do I Stop My Male Dog From Marking In The House?

I have a younger male terrier mix, a senior male Sheltie, and a senior female silky – all rescues. I was told by the Humane Society that he marked alot when he was the only dog in the former owner’s home. Please tell me how to modify this behavior. Thanks for your help.
Help! Dog Won’t Stop Pooping In House?

Its gotten so bad my boyfriend is ready to give her back to the pound. how do i get her to stop when i’m not home to interrupt it?
There could be a grass seed or foxtail awn in his nose. Because these seeds are barbed, they continue to go inwards and cannot come out by themselves. Foxtails in the nose can be deadly to a dog. You should see a vet immediately if there are grasses in this field going to seed right now.
How do you get a puppy to stop biting you?
